My name is Jadon. I am a thirteen-year-old eighth grader at Brooklyn East Collegiate. I love history so much. BEC2BAMA will help me accomplish my goals and open a lot of doors for me. 

I love many things, especially being active and reading. I play different sports like basketball, track, and football, and my favorite book is The Giver. I would characterize myself as competitive and a hard worker. When I want something badly, I don’t stop until I get it. 

BEC2BAMA is a good challenge for me to tackle. It will provide me the opportunity to learn things about Black history few others have. I am especially excited to meet other people who know a lot about Black history and are proud to teach people like me more about Black history. 

Thanks to those people who did not have it as easy as me, I am who I am today.
